I have the very similar Villa Ware Mickey Mouse Waffler. I love that waffle iron. Why did VillaWare create a waffle iron that will appeal more to girls than to boys? To sell more waffle irons? If so, that's a sad thing. I would use this iron for both my son and daughter, but I know my son would complain. Who needs that at breakfast?
Other than that, my Mickey Waffler works great and is easy to clean. After preheating, each waffle cooks in about 3 minutes, and I can get other breakfast items ready while I wait for my kitchen timer to go off.
