I had the WMK300A single waffle maker and I was very happy with it. We have since found out my daughter has Celiac, so we had to get rid of that unit. I purchased this unit thinking it might be handy to have the option to make omelets. I am returning it and getting the WMK300A. I found that the timer did not work well "for me." The omelet side did not seem to heat evenly, and the lids did not lock down as well as they do with the WMK300A. If you have an expanding waffle, it can pop open. It may be the way I operated it, but I did not have the patience to experiment with it, especially when I was perfectly content with the single unit.
